Did you know that the average person will carry £851 worth of handheld gadgets with them every day?* If you are one of these people and travel regulary with your gadgets then our Gadget Insurance policy is for you.
Gadget Insurance will cover your electric equipment up to a a maximum of £500 for accidental damage and theft and is covered for up to 60 days abroad within any 12 month period. There can be up to a maximum of 2 claims within any 12 month period made and 48 hour replacement is included if stolen or unrepairable. We have 2 levels of cover - one which covers in the insured car and one which covers in and out of the insured car.
The gadgets that we cover include - mobile phones, PDA's, Sat Navs, ipods and mp3 players, cameras and camcorders, laptops, portable games consoles, portable dvd players and LCD monitors.
Exclusions to the policy includes theft from the insured vehicle where the items have been left in plain sight and any theft that has not been reported to the police within 24 hours of discovery. Any theft of a mobile phone must also be reported to the network within 12 hours.

The 2 levels of cover:
Level 1 - Covers all gadgets in the insured car for theft and accidental damage while in the insured vehicle.

Level 2 - Covers all gadgets in or out of the insured car and will also cover accidental damage from outside the insured car. In addition, accidental loss to mobiles and PDAs is covered as well as extended warranty (excluding laptops and computers). In addition to the exclusions above, level 2 also excludes theft from premises where there has been no forced entry and when an item has been left unattended.
