A team of motorbike enthusiasts from Kwik Fit Financial Services are riding around the entire coastal route of Scotland in only 5 days. The arduous route will cover 1592 miles and will include some of the most difficult, remote roads in the UK including the most Northern, Southern, Easterly and Westerly points in Scotland. The trek will prove undoubtedly to be both physically and mentally challenging.
The team including Business Development Director Stevie Sutherland and three colleagues will set off from our company’s headquarters in Uddingston on Monday 31 May and are raising funds for Yorkhill Children's Foundation in Glasgow to support the amzing work of the hospital.
The hospital is truly an amazing place and the riders have the chance to help save many children’s lives. The fundraising target is £20,000 and the money raised will go towards a much-needed new cardiac ultrasound machine for Yorkhill’s Cardiology Department. This innovative and state-of-the art machine is being funded by Yorkhill Children’s Foundation, the charity which aims to provide all the 'extra' services and pieces of equipment for sick children and babies from all over Scotland who are treated within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
