Audi A6: Executive elegance

The Audi A6 was voted World Car of the Year, according to the manufacturers which describes the car as an "exhilarating driving experience".

It comes in four versions, the entry level Saloon, the Avant, the Allroad and the sport version S6.

The Saloon starts at £25, 365 for the 2.0 litre six speed model. The features available as standard on this model incorporate automatic air conditioning, cruise control and alloy wheels.

Safety features include ISOFIX mounting for child safety seats, locking wheel bolts and anti-theft alarm.

Optional features vary with specification of model, with a range of options to customise the look of the vehicle including a variety of alloy options and fascia detailing.

For car insurance, the Audi A6 falls into group 14.
