Kia Cee'd - Women-friendly

Kia's Cee'd has plenty of grip, providing a good ride with excellent handling, a reviewer has claimed.

The model comes fitted with air conditioning, a cooled glove box, front electric windows, an adjustable steering wheel and adjustable seats.

Deadlocks are also standard on the car, as is an integrated radio CD player with an MP3.

Leg, head and elbow room is more than adequate, according to FemaleFirst.co.uk, with a cargo area which easily houses luggage and rear seats which split.

Controls are laid out in an easy-to-read manner and are small and neat, however the instrument panel can be a bit too bright when illuminated, the reviewer states.

Both the 1.4-lire and 1.6-litre petrol engines have been revamped and offer reduced carbon output for the environmentally-conscious driver.

The car benefits from a good level of suspension and refinement, keeping road noise to a minimum, while the power steering makes the car economic and responsive.

Kia's model has not yet been Euro NCAP tested but a five-star rating is expected because the car has twin front and front side airbags, headrests, full-length curtain airbags and two Isofix child seat mounting points.

The Kia Cee'd is available from £11,000 in motor insurance groups 4E to 6E.

According to research conducted last year, Kwik-Fit Insurance could save consumers up to £231.92 on their motor insurance.
