Class Use

Please select the "type of use" that best describes what the vehicle will be used for. No cover is given under any "type of use" for hiring (taxis), in connection with the motor trade, racing, rallying, pace-making or speed testing. No cover is given for commercial travelling (eg selling), except under Commercial Travelling by Policyholder & Named Drivers.

Social Domestic & Pleasure - The car is used for leisure purposes only. Travelling to and from work is NOT covered.

Social Domestic Pleasure & Commuting - In addition to leisure use, the car is used for travelling to and from a permanent place of work by you (the policyholder).

Social Domestic Pleasure & Policyholders Business - in addition to commuting (above), you (the policyholder) can use the vehicle in connection with your business and that of your employers.

Social Domestic Pleasure and Policyholders Spouse's Business use - in addition to commuting (above), your SPOUSE in person, can use the vehicle in connection with their own business and that of their employer.

Social Domestic Pleasure & Business for Policyholder & Spouse - Both you and your spouse can use the vehicle in connection with your own business or that of your own employers business.

Social Domestic Pleasure & Business for Policyholder and Any Named Driver - in addition to commuting (above), you and any named driver can use the vehicle in connection with your business only.

Commercial Travelling by Policyholder & Named Drivers - As above , plus use for commercial travelling. Commercial travelling is where you are trying to sell a product or service,or trying to obtain business. For example, a mobile hairdresser or a sales representative.
